The 2015 annual meeting of Changzhou Museum Society was held in Hengshan Museum

On January 6, 2016, the 2015 annual meeting of Changzhou Museum Society was held in Changzhou Hengshan Museum. Zhou Xiaodong, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Information, and 26 members of the council and secretariat attended the meeting.

President Chen Lihua summarized the work of the society in 2015 and put forward specific work ideas for 2016. Nineteen governing units, including Changzhou Museum, Changzhou Hengshan Museum, and Ge Xiaoxing Chinese and Foreign Cigarette Museum, made exchange speeches. The meeting also reviewed and voted on the application for admission to the Yanghu Baoyuan Museum in Wujin District, Changzhou City.

Deputy Director Zhou Xiaodong made an important speech. He fully affirmed the achievements made by the Changzhou Museum Association in promoting industrial exchanges, strengthening co-construction and cooperation, integrating and optimizing resources, and coordinating activities in the past year. He hoped that the association would continue to improve the construction of the organizational structure, effectively play a good role as a platform, strengthen inter-library cooperation, provide business guidance for private museums, continuously improve its visibility and influence, and make positive contributions to the balanced development of Changzhou museums.
